A romp. A foolhardy ridiculous Sci-fi romp.
After writing and illustrating Peter’s a Bastard, something in a style so simple and clean, my instinct was to dive headlong into something made of the very opposite. The cover styles look so similar, yet they couldn’t be more different on the inside.
The story, a farce so ridiculous it shouldn’t be taken seriously, is presented in an illustration style so busy, bright and colourful, most of the imagery is as ridiculous as the storytelling.
It was a little bit of fun. Overwritten, over illustrated, and overdone; as somebody once told me my motto should be if a job’s worth doing, it’s worth over-doing, and here’s the proof of that particular pudding right here.
